Arsenale Named WEF Technology Pioneer 2025
Arsenale Bioyards has been named one of the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers for 2025, joining a global cohort of early-stage companies recognized for developing technologies with the potential to impact business and society significantly.
Each year, the World Economic Forum selects a group of companies at the forefront of innovation across various sectors, including biotechnology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. These organisations are chosen not only for their technological contributions, but for their potential to shape global conversations - and solutions - around the most urgent challenges of our time.
For Arsenale, this recognition reinforces our core belief: that nature can be industrial, and that unlocking its potential at scale requires more than scientific advancement - it demands systems. Infrastructure. Intentional design.
We’re building the industrial and data backbone that biomanufacturing needs to become economically viable and operationally scalable - not by adapting biology to existing industrial contexts, but by designing platforms that integrate biology from the outset, where fermentation, sensing, automation, and AI converge into modular, repeatable, and scalable systems.
As a Technology Pioneer, Arsenale will actively participate in the Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR). We’ll join policy-makers, researchers, and fellow innovators in shaping dialogues and frameworks around responsible technology, sustainable manufacturing, and the future of industrial infrastructure.
We are honoured by this invitation and see it as a call to contribute, with rigour and responsibility, to shaping the systems that will define the decades ahead.
